Editarcalife Newsflash - May 27th 2009 - Release 2 Family Tree and more
Dear Members,
We have changed the format of our communications slightly. We will still continue to deliver our quarterly newsletters; with information about arcalife, great offers and stories about you, our members. When there is something extra that’s worth telling you about, we’ll also send you a newsflash like this one which will give you all the information you need to know about arcalife in a simpler, shorter format.
We are happy to say that we have added loads of great new features and improvements to the site over the last month. The focus for this release was on improving our Family Tree and Family History Search features:
• Last month we introduced GEDCOM on our site – thanks for all the feedback – from today you can now upload GEDCOM’s containing 10,000 family members.
• The family tree and family archives now support very large sizes – more than 10,000 tree nodes or profiles
• You can now search 1 billion records and see full record details
• When you find relevant records, directly import them to your Life Archive and use them immediately in your family tree
• Improved usability and help in the family tree
• Simplification of the family member invite function, making it easier than ever to share family history with the rest of the clan
