The Arizona Department of Health Services is a great family history resource it is a free database and includes the original digital verified versions of birth and death certificates that are publicly available in Arizona. The database goes back from 50 years ago for Deaths and 75 years ago for birth, to protect the privacy of individuals.
The world wide web is a great place to start searching for family history. Just type in the names you are looking for into any of the standard search engine like MSN, AOL, Google, Yahoo or AskJeeves. Be aware though that this method of searching is hit and miss. The great thing about family history is that there is something for all levels. It’s really just your commitment to yourself that you will try and achieve certain things by a certain date.
Try asking various family members to gather family photo albums out check for information including, names, dates and places where your ancestors may have been. You never know what family history you might find on the back of an old photo. This can provide you with a new route for your family history investigations
